4.2 Prices displayed are in New Zealand dollars (NZD) and exclude GST (where applicable). Delivery fees, taxes and any other charges will be added at checkout.
4.3 If a product’s price is listed incorrectly due to a typographical error, we reserve the right to cancel your order and issue a full refund.
5. Payment Methods
5.1 We accept credit/debit cards and other methods as displayed at checkout.
5.2 Payment must be received in full before we dispatch any order. Orders with unauthorized or fraudulent payments will be canceled.
6. Delivery, Title & Risk
6.1 We aim to dispatch all orders within 2 business days. Delivery times are estimates only and not guaranteed.
6.2 If you authorize “leave if safe,” risk transfers to you once the carrier leaves the goods at the delivery address.
6.3 Title to goods passes to you once we have received full payment; risk passes on delivery or placement in a safe location.
7. Product Information & Fitment
7.1 Product descriptions and images are based on supplier/manufacturer information and are for illustrative purposes only. They do not form part of the contract.
7.2 We strongly recommend installation by a qualified technician. You are responsible for ensuring compatibility with your vehicle and compliance with all applicable laws.
8. Returns, Refunds & Warranties
8.1 New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act applies: if a product has a major failure, you may request a replacement or refund.
8.2 “Change of Mind” Returns: You may return items within 7 days of delivery in original condition, at your expense, plus a 15% restocking fee.

Shipping Policy

We aim to provide fast and reliable delivery across New Zealand. Below are the terms and conditions that form our Shipping Policy.
Domestic Shipping
- All orders are typically processed and dispatched within 2–3 business days.
- We deliver nationwide across New Zealand using Castle Parcel.
- Deliveries are made on business days only (Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays).
- If there is a high volume of orders or any unexpected delays, we will contact you via email or phone.
Castle Parcel Delivery
- We use Castle Parcel’s reliable courier service for fast and secure deliveries.
- Standard delivery time is 2–3 business days from the dispatch date.
- A tracking number will be provided once your order has been dispatched.
- Please ensure someone is available to receive the parcel, or provide delivery instructions when placing your order.
Important Notes
- We do not deliver to P.O. Boxes.
- Delivery times may vary during peak periods, rural areas, or due to unforeseen events.

Refund & Return Policy
Thank you for choosing Buddy Autoparts. If you’re not completely satisfied with your purchase, we’re here to help.
Return Eligibility
You may return any product within 7 days of receiving your order.
To qualify for a return:
- Items must be unused, in original packaging, and in resalable condition.
- A receipt or proof of purchase is required.
Once we receive your return, our team will inspect the item(s) and determine the outcome. In certain cases, a freight cost plus 15% restocking fee may be charged.
Damaged or Incorrect Items
If your order arrives damaged, faulty, or if you receive the wrong item, please contact us immediately. We’ll work with you to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.
- If the error is on our end, we’ll either send a replacement, or provide a prepaid return label.
- In some cases, we may advise you to dispose of the item and will ship you a replacement without requiring a return.
Exchanges
If you need a different product, we suggest returning the original item for a refund, then placing a new order.
How Refunds Work
Once your return is approved:
- You will be asked to provide your bank account details.
- We will process your refund via direct bank transfer.
- Please allow 1–3 working days for the refund to be completed once your account information is received.
- Refunds will not be returned to the original payment method (e.g., card or online platform).
